Sales International has succeeded in winning an order for a conventional power station. LISEGA was awarded the order by one of the major international EPCs in Korea for a gas-fired power plant (2,242 MW) that is being constructed in Malaysia. Besides LISEGA standard pipe supports, many special components will be supplied. It is particularly worth mentioning that this customer has awarded his major contract to LISEGA in the face of competition from four Korean companies. A further feature is the detailed engineering demanded by the customer for the high pressure pipe systems in SmartPlant, a 3D design software. The execution of this planning forms part of the whole package and will be carried out in the customer’s office in Seoul by our service engineers. Both German and Indian service personnel will perform the work, which will be coordinated by Christopher Kröger. The experience gained in this planning work will provide a valuable basis for future engineering services in SP3D worldwide. The hardware will be delivered in the first quarter of 2019. This order shows once more the great potential that exists in Korea for LISEGA in the power station construction business in the conventional field. The key to our success is certainly due to the close collaboration between Sales International and Service, as well as our capacity to offer whole packages, from design to hardware supplies.
