Dual curriculum at the HAW Hamburg
Our first year of „dual students“ at the University of Applied Science (HAW) in Hamburg started on 1 September 2018. Tobias Schmegel, formerly an IT trainee in application development, is beginning his studies of Applied IT in pre-course math. The practice stages will be overseen by Dr. Lahde. Maren Heitmann, technical product designer, and Alexander Sänger, industrial mechanic, are starting their studies of mechanical engineering with the focus on development and design. Due to construction work on campus, lectures in mechanical engineering will begin at the end of September. Until then our students will go through the practical phase related to their studies, organized by their mentor Mr. Klee, in Product Technologies and the test laboratory. We wish them all a good start at university and lots of success in their studies!
