The former premises of the Paulaner Brewery in Munich is in future to be converted to a residential and business complex. However, due to a subway line nearby, vibrations regularly occur that, if no special measures are taken, could lead to impermissible vibrations in the buildings to be constructed. For this reason, as early as the planning phase a vibration insulated design of the buildings was planned. For this, at ground level between sub-base and basement, full-surface highly elastic matting is laid to separate the building completely from the ground surrounding it. By means of such a measure the passing subway trains are barely noticed and the value of the buildings considerably increased. Calenberg Ingenieure GmbH has been awarded the order for the supply and installation of their surface matting of the types Cibatur and Civerso.
