Mürmann – Tension rod systems in the East Side Mall Berlin

Berlin’s new shopping highlight, the East Side Mall, opened officially at the end of 2018. Over some 38,000 m2, this mall offers an attractive mixture of retail shops, services, leisure and gastronomy. The parking levels are located in the two upper storeys with 760 lots. m.connect tension rod systems were installed as vertical bracing between the steel pipe supports. To avoid collisions with the structural steelwork the rods were painted with warning stripes. m.connect tension rod systems were also installed for the horizontal bracing of the roof pergola. Our official approved compression and tension rods are often used in multi-storey car parks (steel frame design). Slim design and high tensile strength absorption are the decisive factors.
