m.connect at IKEA

Mürmann’s m.connect compression and tension rod system is built along modular lines, similarly to a lot of IKEA furniture designs. For this reason the m.connect tension rods were easily integrated into the design of the new IKEA City Store parking garage in Altona, Hamburg. The IKEA City Store is the first furniture store to be built by IKEA in a pedestrian zone within an inner city area. The appealing m.connect design blends perfectly with the whole creative concept of this modern building in the historic centre of Altona.
