Sales Meeting in Kodak, USA

Subsequent to the Executive Meeting, the LISEGA Group Sales Managers‘ Meeting also took place in Kodak. “The sales team is becoming more and more international”, Dr. Georg Friberg was happy to note; he was able for the first time to greet the new sales managers from Russia, China and India at such an event.

In collaboration with the firm Induo Systemholztechnik, Mürmann has extended the application field for elements in the m.connect compression and tension rod systems. To include connecting elements such as fork heads out of the m.connect catalog in wooden constructions, attractive solutions were found permitting aesthetically sophisticated architectural applications.

As long as a year ago, LISEGA PST had passed all the necessary tests and audits to be approved as a Chinese supplier to nuclear installations in China. The responsible authority, National Nuclear Safety Administration (NNSA), had already announced that the corresponding certificate would be issued shortly, when the accident occurred in Fukushima.

After the Fukushima accident, not only current construction projects for nuclear plants were subjected to safety analyses, but also plants already in operation. As a result, in these power stations new, stricter safety requirements were imposed by Rosenergoatom, the operator, and corresponding overhaul programs put in operation.
