We take the protection of your personal data very seriously. Therefore, we treat your personal data always and of course in accordance with the legal data protection obligations. We have designated a qualified and reliable external Data Protection Officer. The external commissioning of data protection will be conducted by the UIMC Dr. Vossbein GmbH & Co KG.

You can use our website without disclosing your identity. Any personal data which might be requested on our website e. g. in a contact form or upon login / registration is provided by you on a voluntary basis. The provided information is used for our own business purposes (such as sending the requested materials / information).

Please do not hesitate to contact us via the contact form provided on our website, should you have any questions. Fields marked with an asterisk are compulsory and have to be filled in so that we may attribute the query to you and reply to your request. Additional information is provided on a voluntary basis. The processing of data for the purpose of making contact with us takes place in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR based on your voluntary consent.

The collected personal data resulting from the use of the contact form will be deleted after the execution of your request and after the retention periods according to tax law and commercial law have expired.

Every time this website is accessed, protocols are created and processed. Thereby, individual users remain anonymous:

  • Referrer (site that provided the link to and referred you to this website)
  • Search terms (search engines as referrer)
  • IP is analysed to determine the country of origin and the provider
  • Browser, operating system, installed plug-ins and screen resolution
  • Duration of the visit on the website.

The abovementioned data are processed by us on the basis of our legitimate interests according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR for the following purposes:

  • Ensuring a reliable connection establishment to the website
  • Ensuring of a comfortable use of our website
  • Evaluation of the system security and stability, as well as
  • Further administrative purposes.

On our website, we offer you the opportunity to view webinars about our products and services. We also offer customer training courses on site at LISEGA. If you make use of these services, we will process your personal data, i.e. your contact details and all information related to your use of our services, in order to fulfill the contract in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR and to contact you for advertising purposes on the basis of your consent in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. The data you provide is necessary for participation and the exchange of experiences. Without this data, participation in webinars, customer training courses, and the associated exchange of experiences is not possible. If you have registered with GoToWebinar via LinkedIn or Facebook, LogMeIn will also process the additional data you have provided there.

The webinars are provided by GoToWebinar of LogMeIn Inc. in the USA. LogMeIn may transfer the processed information to third parties, e.g., US authorities, if required by law or if third parties process this data on behalf of LogMeIn. External use of social networks

We also operate profiles on third-party social media in order to publish information there.
Please note that some of the users’ data is processed outside the European Union. This may create risks (e.g. regarding the enforcement of rights). Furthermore, users’ data on social media are usually processed by those social media for market research and advertising purposes. For example, user profiles can be created based on user behaviour and the resulting interests of users. We do not have access to these and we do not process the data for such purposes. Data protection regarding the processing of personal data of our business partners (customers / suppliers; B2B)

We, as the contractual partner of your company, process the personal data with regard to your person for our legitimate interests in the preparation of offers and the fulfilment of contracts on the basis of art. 6 (1) s. 1 let. f GDPR. Personal data for the purpose of bookkeeping and cost accounting are processed on the basis of art. 6 (1) s. 1 let. b GDPR and for the fulfilment of contractual and legal obligations (e.g. commercial and tax law) on the basis of art. 6 (1) s. 1 let. c GDPR. The business relationship exists between your company and us. Because of external requirements (e.g. within the scope of tax law and customs law) it can happen that personal data regarding your person is compared to lists which were published by federal authorities.

Furthermore, data may also be processed for legitimate purposes in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR, such as marketing, internal market research and marketing purposes, in-house statistics. Some of these service providers are located outside the EU / EEA; those service providers ensure an adequate level of data protection by concluding EU standard contractual clauses.

The webinars are provided by GoToWebinar of LogMeIn Inc. in the USA. LogMeIn may transfer the processed information to third parties, e.g., US authorities, if required by law or if third parties process this data on behalf of LogMeIn. In order to provide you with the best possible information and services for the purposes outlined above, information about the contractual relationship (including personal data) is provided within our globally operating LISEGA and BUHLMANN group (including the US and other non-EU / non-EEA countries). Even those companies within the group which are located outside the EU ensure an adequate level of data protection by concluding EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

 

Retention and erasure of personal data
Your personal data will be stored as long as these are required to fulfil the above-mentioned purposes. The data will be erased at the latest after the termination of the contractual relationship and after expiry of the statutory retention periods of civil, commercial and tax law.

Data processing in the context of the application process

We process your personal data relating to you in connection with conducting your application process and to assess your potential employability. We process the information you provide for the purpose of making a well-founded personnel decision on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. In addition, evaluations based on objective, non-discriminatory criteria are stored; where permissible in individual cases, publicly available personal data about you is also stored.
The data you provide is required to carry out the application process. Without this data, we cannot consider your application.

 

Disclosure / Service providers
Your personal data is transferred to P&I Personal & Informatik AG, based in Wiesbaden, as an external service provider to support us in the personnel selection process by providing LOGA HR. For maintenance purposes, the IT service provider may access your data. In all cases, the service providers act under instruction, which is ensured by appropriate contracts.
Only if you have given us your consent within the scope of your declaration of consent will we also share your personal data with other companies of the LISEGA Group in order to offer you further entry options within our corporate group.
Successful applicants are checked against sanctions lists prior to hiring. To carry out the screening, the data necessary for this purpose is transmitted to a Germany-based service provider (Zoba IT & Service GmbH) and reviewed in the service provider’s web portal by LISEGA personnel. Screening against sanctions lists is based on legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) and serves to create the conditions for enabling and/or maintaining international business relationships.

 

Retention and deletion of data

Your data will be retained for as long as is necessary for the above-mentioned purposes of the personnel selection process. If you object to data processing during the personnel selection process, the data will be deleted unless there are statutory retention obligations to the contrary.
The data will be deleted after the end of the application process and after the expiry of any limitation periods for legal claims, unless you have given your consent for your application to be stored for further job offers.

 

Your rights

We hereby inform you that, in accordance with Articles 15 et seq. GDPR, you have the right, under the conditions defined therein, to obtain access to the personal data concerning you, as well as the right to rectification or erasure, or to restriction of processing, or to object to processing, and the right to data portability. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority pursuant to Article 77 GDPR if you believe that the processing of your personal data violates this Regulation. Where processing is based on Article 6(1)(a) GDPR or Article 9(2)(a) GDPR (consent), you also have the right to withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

You have the right to request information about whether and to what extent your personal data is processed (in particular the processing purpose, recipients of the data, retention period, etc.).

Right to rectification, Art. 16 GDPR
You have the right to request rectification of your stored data if it is inaccurate or incomplete. This includes the right to completion by means of supplementary statements or notifications.

Right to object, Art. 21 GDPR

We hereby inform you about the processing of your personal data:

Data processing

We – LISEGA SE, Gerhard-Liesegang-Str. 1, 27404 Zeven – process your personal data in connection with your visit to your premises in order to fulfil administrative purposes and legal obligations (including the safety of persons on our premises, e.g. regarding occupational safety, evacuation in emergencies) on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 S. 1 lit. c GDPR. Due to external requirements (for example within the scope of customs and tax law) it can happen that your personal data are compared with lists published by authorities (e. g. sanctions lists).

The following personal data will be processed:

  • in the context of visitor registration: name, company name/authority, access data
  • in the context of motor vehicle registration: name, company name/authority, license plate, access dates, reason for visit

The data you provide are absolutely necessary for the fulfilment of the aforementioned purposes. Without these data we cannot grant you access.

Images of you can also be stored as part of video surveillance. The recording is processed by us on the basis of our legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR and Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR only for the following purposes:

  • for the protection of domiciliary rights,
  • for access control,
  • for the documentation of vehicle data,
  • for the prevention of theft and vandalism,
  • coverage of company safety requirements for export certificates (AEO C/S and Known Consignor)

We reserve the right to check these data subsequently if we become aware of concrete indications of illegal use. The data is deleted immediately, when it is no longer required for any purpose, but usually after 31 days. In the event of a necessary transfer of the data to third parties, the data will be retained until the case has been clarified and/or any resulting retention periods have expired.

Transfer of personal data

Some of your personal data will be viewed by external service providers (plant security). In some cases, external IT service providers (in the context of order data processing in accordance with Article 28 GDPR) can access your data. Here, the service providers act in accordance with instructions, which have been ensured by corresponding contracts.

In the event of a logged suspicion of a criminal offence or misdemeanour, records may be disclosed to the police, courts, lawyers, insurance companies, other agencies or authorities for law enforcement and/or prosecution purposes.

Your right

We hereby inform you that according to Art. 15 et seqq. GDPR, under the conditions laid down therein, you have the right to obtain confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning you are being processed, and, where that is the case, access to the personal data. Further, you have the right to obtain rectification of inaccurate personal data as well as the right of erasure or the restriction of processing of your personal data. You also have the right to object to the processing of your personal data if the processing of personal data was based on legitimate interests (see Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR).
