The LISEGA modular system was complemented by cryogenic pipe supports in product group 5 in 2001. Since then the product has been developed continuously and established in the market as the advanced product concept HIPAC.

Under this brand name LISEGA offers a complete range of insulated pipe supports for all types of cold and cryogenic piping applications. The HIPAC-supports are designed in accordance with recognized international standards and engineering specifications. In addition to the serial production of the LISEGA HIPAC-standard, supports can also be designed and fabricated according to special customer requirements.

Cryogenic pipe supports are required for industrial processes involving the production, distribution and transportation of liquefied gases.

A typical industrial process is the liquefaction of natural gas - methane - to liquid natural gas (LNG) by cooling it down to approximately -260°F. This occurs in liquefaction plants from which the gas is shipped by special vessels. At reception terminals with re-gasification plants the LNG is unloaded and distributed.

Further industry processes where liquefaction of gases is required can be found in gas processing plants for the production of propane and butane (LPG), ethane and helium as well as petrochemical plants for the production of ethane, propylene and benzene.

Design, engineering and project management are all executed by the LISEGA Head Office in Germany.
