New LICAD release
Since its introduction in the year 1989, LICAD has been the leading software worldwide for the design of pipe support systems. LICAD enables the generation of support drawings, material lists and 3D models.
With LICAD 10 LISEGA once again offers the user clearly improved handling and extra functions!
After several years of development and comprehensive testing, LICAD 10 has been available since June to all our customers. As usual you can download it free of charge from our website. The highlights of version 10 are, among other things:
- Integration of the new revised catalog Standard Supports 2020 (metric)
- New ergonomic screens and extra print options
- Multi-user operation for parallel processing of major projects
- Complete Windows 10 compatibility
- Direct switching between different program languages
LICAD is available in the languages German, English, French, Spanish, Russian, Chinese and Japanese.
Just as before, LICAD 10 provides comprehensive component libraries and offers interfaces to all leading pipe design programs. This enables the simple input of data and the efficient design of load chains. A new feature is, among other things, the interface to the TEKLA steelwork program.
Many of the additions and improvements desired by users have been implemented in LICAD 10.
We will continue to work on the further development of LICAD 10 with the aim of fulfilling the continuously changing and increasing requirements.
A LICAD 10 version for the American market (UNC standard) is planned for the end of the year.
