In June of this year LISEGA was awarded a long-term contract for the commissioning of the major power station Kusile in South Africa. We have now succeeded in winning a service contract for the second location in Medupi, so LISEGA now has service contracts for all 12 newly constructed blocks in South Africa. Parallel to this, the first support records are being conducted in the blocks already in operation. In the context of service work, service technicians for the LISEGA locations in Germany, Great Britain and India are being deployed. Almost at the same time as the Kusile order a 5-year contract was won for a petro-chemical plant in Oman. The service technicians are breaking new ground here, as the order involves the inspection of supports as well as compensators. LISEGA is cooperating here with the long-standing sales partner Kompaflex and both companies will send teams to the plants in Oman. “The orders we have won are an important element in our international service strategy and also help to secure the long-term employment of the personnel at our Zeven plant”, said Dr. Michael Weinrauch.
