PDMS- AND PDS-INTERFACE & DXF-/ASCII-INTERFACE

For the fundamental CAD-programs PDMS by AVEVA and Microstation by Intergraph, LICAD are equipped with specific interfaces.
The
prerequisites are thereby given for a transfer of the LICAD-drawings to
the above-mentioned systems for 3D-presentations.The conversion into
3D-drawings is an essential requirement for simulated collision tests.

Via a specific export interface designs and parts
lists in DXF-/ ASCII-format can be exported to other programs for
further use. The designs are exported in DXF-format and are available
after export as unscaled objects on the scale of 1:1.
The parts lists are exported in ASCII-format and can be worked on with any text editor

This is provided for by the corresponding input in
a special menu. Considering these requirements, the programmed
algorithm always ensures that the most economical solution will be
selected from all possible options.
