THE YEARS 1981 - 1990

 

1981
Increases in turnover and higher demands in the logistics area necessitate the building of a new shop to accommodate the expansion of storage and dispatch.

 

1982
The construction of a new administration building in Zeven becomes necessary.

 

1985
In order to ensure the required product quality and availability of threaded rods, the Hamburg based MÜRMANN fasteners company is acquired. 

 

 

 

   
 

1987
A distribution branch is opened in Laconia, New Hampshire, USA. The North American market is to be exploited from now on.

 

1988
A special computer program for time and motion is developed for the planning and control of manufacturing.

 

1989
The company celebrates 25 years of successful development. In the meantime, 250 employees work in facilities spread over 10,000m2 of production area and 2,000m2 of office space. Their deep commitment to their work results in an annual turnover of $ 25 million. From the one-man-band of the early years, the company has risen to a leading international position with a world market share of 20%. In order to optimize logistics, the storage and dispatch area is equipped with the latest technology. This necessitates the construction of a new shop containing rail mounted shelving space. The machining area is newly equipped and fitted out with modern CNC technology.

 

1990
LISEGA is approved as Material Supplier by the American ASME Committee in accordance with ASME NCA 3800.
